I am very grateful that you have chosen to visit my website. I hope you enjoy browsing my original art and my print shop. I paint using oils and am inspired by my love of the powerful, yet calming nature of the sea and the unpretentious wisdom of trees. The power and strength of the sea counterbalances the silent wisdom and grace of trees.
Inspired by Japanese culture, having lived there for five years, I often use 24K gold leaf in my paintings. This use of gold in Japanese art represents the light that illuminates our world. I believe that art is not necessarily about what you see, but rather how it makes you feel.
